Your first-week game plan
The biggest risk in your first week isn’t doing something wrong. It’s trying to do everything, getting overwhelmed, and doing nothing. Momentum dies in the overwhelm.
So here’s the whole plan for week one. Three things. Not ten.
The plan
Section titled “The plan”1. Switch on Missed-Call Text-Back
Section titled “1. Switch on Missed-Call Text-Back”Two minutes of setup, and it starts working the moment it’s on. This is deliberately first because it needs almost no configuration and catches leads you’re currently losing — the fastest possible return on the smallest possible effort.
2. Import your contacts
Section titled “2. Import your contacts”Import your existing customers and clean the list as it goes in. Your AI team can only work with the people it can see.
3. Train your Conversation AI
Section titled “3. Train your Conversation AI”Teach the AI your business — your prices, your services, your hours, your tone. This one takes the longest (about an hour to do properly), and it’s the one that transforms your evenings and weekends, so it earns that hour.
A sensible rhythm for the week
Section titled “A sensible rhythm for the week”| When | What |
|---|---|
| Early in the week | Missed-Call Text-Back + import your contacts |
| Midweek | Train Conversation AI |
| The weekend | Just watch. |
The weekend part is the part people skip. Watch the inbox. Watch how the AI answers. You’ll spot one or two answers you want to sharpen, and that small feedback loop is how it gets genuinely good.
Your target: one moment
Section titled “Your target: one moment”Your target for the week is a single moment: one enquiry that comes in, gets answered, and moves forward without you touching it.
That’s the first win. It sounds small. It isn’t. It’s proof the system works for your business, with your customers — and everything else builds on that proof.
